Coronation Street

Coronation Street

So for the first time ever we had to write to the producers to tell them about the barbecue storyline. We thought it was truly embarrassing and has no place in a programme of quality. No sooner had we sent that off than we had to write again to congratulate them on the portrayal of Hayley's illness. It is an exceptionally moving storyline, and both the acting and the dialogue is realistic and compelling.

So probably you either watch this or you don't, and nothing we say here will change that. However, we do have to recommend this to you as a very well written piece of Drama. Hayley is something of a misfit, and for several years has been married to Roy, a man who also has more than his share of problems relating to other people. They are in fact the real 'Odd Couple' and after years of being social outcasts, they have found each other and been accepted. They are a thoroughly likeable couple.

Sadly, Julie Hesmondhalgh (who plays Hayley), has decided to leave the soap and the opportunity for a tear-jerker cannot be missed by the writers of our favourite soap......

Sherlock

Sherlock

Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson have been portrayed hundreds of times over the years, in movies, television and radio. Blacklist

The Blacklist

Blacklist is the great new show about an FBI agent Elizabeth Keen played by Megan Boone and her most wanted informant, James Spader. Raymond Reddington (Spader) is the violent psychopath who exacts revenge on his (also criminal) enemies by helping the FBI catch them. Absolutely brilliant TV that you must see....
