Kenya

Kenya Elephant

This is one of our trips of a lifetime series.

There are many places to go on safari, but we chose Kenya and the Masai Mara safari followed by a break on the beach near Mombasa. We booked with Virgin Holidays, flying with Kenya Airways from London to Nairobi, then from Nairobi to Mombasa before returning to London via Nairobi.

We are very impressed with Virgin Holidays; they are a little more expensive than others but they give excellent service. We would, and have, travelled with them again.

On the following pages we'll tell you a little of what you can expect from a Kenya safari holiday - and please believe us when we say this an amazing experience that you will remember forever. There are endangered species all over the world and to see some of these magnificent animals in their natural setting is enormously enjoyable, but the land itself is also spectacular.

So, pack your best camera, some comfortable shoes and head off to the east of Africa.
